현대중 직원발 확진자 5명으로 증가…감염 확산 우려에 긴장(종합2보)

(울산=연합뉴스) 장영은 김근주 기자 = 현대중공업 울산 조선소에서 직원 4명과 직원 아들 1명이 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 양성 판정을 받았다.

울산 지역 기업에서 집단 감염 사례가 발생하기는 처음이어서 보건 당국이 감염이 더 확산하지 않을까 긴장하고 있다.

보건 당국과 현대중공업에 따르면 6일 북구 사는 45세 현대중 직원이 울산 115번째 확진 판정을 받았다.

이어 8일 115번의 9살짜리 아들, 115번 직장 동료인 현대중 직원 2명이 각각 울산 120번부터 122번으로 추가 감염됐다.

직원 확진자 2명은 북구 사는 58세 남성, 동구 사는 57세 남성이다.

이들 2명은 115번과 같은 공간에서 근무하던 밀접 접촉자였다.

이들 2명에 이어 115번 접촉자 중 현대중 30대 직원 1명이 또다시 양성 판정을 받았다.

직원 감염 확진자만 4명이다.

115번 확진자는 앞서 3일부터 발열 증상을 보였다.

이동 경로는 1일부터 회사 출근, 사내 식사, 오토바이 귀가를 반복했다.

3일에는 북구 마트 1곳, 4일에는 회사 부속 의원 등을 방문한 것으로 조사됐다.

시는 현재까지 115번 감염 경로가 불분명하다고 보고 있다.

현대중은 확진자 직원이 일하는 부서의 나머지 직원 300명가량을 대상으로 집에 머물도록 조치하고 전원 코로나19 검사를 받도록 했다.

시는 이들 확진자 이동 경로와 밀접 접촉한 다른 사람 등을 역학 조사하고 있다.

앞서 방역 당국과 사측은 115번 확진자 발생 때 해당 부서와 사내 부속 의원 등을 방역 조치했다.

현대중공업은 그동안 전 직원 마스크 착용 의무화, 시차 출근제, 회식·출장 금지, 전 직원 발열 체크 의무화 등 코로나19 감염 예방을 위한 조치를 시행해왔으나, 확진자가 발생하자 당황하는 분위기다.

확진자와 같은 건물, 이동 경로에 있는 현대중 직원들도 자신들이 감염되지 않았을까 우려하는 것으로 알려졌다.

이 건물 직원들은 일반적으로 샤워실과 사내 식당 등을 공유한다.

현대중공업은 원·하청을 포함해 모두 2만7천 명가량이 근무하는 곳이다.

사측은 이번 코로나19 확산으로 일부 생산 차질이 있을 것으로 예상한다.

한영석 현대중공업 사장은 이날 담화문을 내고 "추가 감염을 예방하는 데 최선을 다하고 있다"며 "동요하지 말고 각자 위치에서 확산 방지에 힘써 달라"고 강조했다.

또 "추가 감염 차단을 위해 모든 자원을 집중하겠다"고 밝혔다.
