(선양=연합뉴스) 차병섭 특파원 = 영사관 폐쇄 사태로 미중간 갈등이 고조되는 가운데, 왕이(王毅) 중국 외교 담당 국무위원 겸 외교부장이 "현재 미중 관계가 직면한 어려움은 완전히 미국 혼자 만든 것"이라고 미국을 비판했다.

왕 국무위원은 24일 독일 하이코 마스 외교장관과의 영상회담에서 미중관계와 관련해 이같이 밝혔다고 중국 외교부가 홈페이지를 통해 공개했다.

왕 국무위원은 "미국의 목적은 중국의 발전과정을 철저히 끊으려는 것"이라면서 "이를 위해 수단을 가리지 않고, 심지어 마지노선도 없다"고 강하게 비난했다.

이어서 "최근 미국의 일부 반중 세력은 음모를 꾸미고 이데올로기적 대립을 만들었다"면서 "타국들에 (미중 사이에서) 선택해 줄을 서도록 공개협박했고, 미국의 사익을 위해 중국에 대항하도록 했다"고 주장했다.

그러면서 "양심과 독립정신이 있는 국가라면 모두 미국과 한편이 되지 않을 것"이라고 말했다.

왕 국무위원은 "중국은 여전히 미국과 충돌·대립하지 않고, 상호존중하며 상생협력하고 싶다"면서도 "중국은 국가주권과 민족존엄을 결연히 지킬 것"이라고 강조했다.

그러면서 "중국은 미국에 맞춰 춤을 추지 않을 것이며, 결코 미국이 생각 없이 함부로 하도록 용인하지도 않을 것"이라고 밝혔다.
