제주도, 서울시 해명에 재반박…유감 표명

(제주=연합뉴스) 백나용 기자 = 제주에 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 2차 감염을 불러온 서울 광진구 20번 환자가 제주 방문 당시 자가격리 대상자가 아니었다고 밝힌 서울시의 입장에 제주도가 유감을 표명했다.

제주도는 18일 보도자료를 통해 "광진구 20번 확진자는 제주에 오기 전 강남구 91번 확진자와 접촉, 철저한 역학조사를 통해 자가격리에 들어가야 했지만, 서울시와 각 구청 접촉자 관리에서 누락되면서 제주에서 2차 감염이 이뤄졌다"고 밝혔다.

도는 "이번 사태는 서울시와 강남구 보건당국이 지난 13일 강남구 91번 확진자가 발생했을 때 정확하고 신속한 역학조사를 했다면 막을 수 있던 사안이었다"고 강조했다.

도에 따르면 광진구 20번 확진자와 접촉해 제주에서 4명이 코로나19 확진 판정을 받았고, 이들과 접촉한 118명이 자가격리에 들어갔다.

아울러 광진구 20번 환자가 5박 6일간 머물렀던 제주시 한림읍의 주민 856명이 코로나19 검사를 받았다,

앞서 원희룡 제주도지사는 전날 도청 브리핑에서 "제주에서 2차 감염을 불러온 광진구 20번 확진자는 서울에 거주하는 동안 강남구 마사지숍에서 강남구 확진자와 접촉해 감염된 것으로 보이나 접촉자 관리 체계에서 누락돼 제주를 방문할 수 있었던 것으로 추정된다"고 밝혔다.

원 지사가 서울시 방역 관리에 아쉬움을 표현하자 같은 날 오후 서울시는 즉각 해명에 나섰다.

서울시는 보도자료를 통해 "서울 광진구 20번째 확진자는 16일 코로나19 확진 판정을 받기 전 제주를 방문했다"며 "제주 방문 당시 자가격리 대상이 아니었다"고 밝혔다.

또 광진구 20번 확진자가 강남구 91번 확진자와 접촉했지만 자가격리대상자로 분류되지 않은 이유는 강남구 91번 환자가 광진구 20번 환자와의 접촉력을 역학조사에서 진술하지 않았기 때문이라고 해명했다.

서울시는 감염예방법 제79조에 따라 강남구 91번 환자를 고발 조치할 방침이다.
