(도쿄=연합뉴스) 김호준 특파원 = 일본에서 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19)이 재확산함에 따라 일본 정부는 기업에 감염 방지를 위한 재택근무 등을 재차 요청하기로 했다고 교도통신과 NHK가 26일 보도했다.

니시무라 야스토시(西村康稔) 경제재생상은 이날 기자회견에서 경제단체에 텔레워크(IT 장비를 활용한 재택근무나 원격근무)나 시차출근과 함께 몸 상태가 안 좋은 직원은 출근시키지 않도록 하는 등의 감염 방지 대책을 철저히 하도록 재차 요청하겠다고 밝혔다.

코로나19 대책 주무 장관인 니시무라 경제재생상은 현재 일본의 코로나19 감염 상황에 대해서 "60대 이상의 감염 확산과 중증자 수, 의료제공 체제에 대해 경계심을 갖고 주시하고 있다"며 "의료제공 체제의 확보에 만전을 기하겠다"고 강조했다.

일본 정부는 지난 4월 휴업 요청과 외출 자제 등을 골자로 한 긴급사태를 선언하면서 사람과 사람의 접촉을 70~80% 줄이기 위해 기업에 재택근무를 요청했었다.

정부는 다만, 지난 4~5월 1차 확산 때보다 지금은 중증자 수가 적고 의료제공 체제도 유지되고 있다는 등의 이유로 긴급사태를 재차 선언할 상황이 아니라는 입장을 고수하고 있다.

일본에선 이날 오후 9시 현재 825명의 코로나19 확진자가 새로 확인됐다.

일본의 하루 코로나19 확진자는 22일 795명, 23일 981명, 24일 777명, 전날 803명으로 이날까지 닷새째 700명 이상을 기록 중이다.
