전국 전임의도 내일 병원복귀…"동료·환자들 곁으로 돌아간다"

(서울=연합뉴스) 계승현 기자 = 병원 임상강사, 펠로 등을 대표하는 전국 전임의 비상대책위원회는 7일 성명문을 내고 "9월 8일부로 그간 필수 의료를 지켜준 동료들과 환자들 곁으로 돌아간다"고 밝혔다.

전임의 비대위는 "국민건강 수호를 위해 부여받은 사명이 흔들리지 않도록 각자의 자리를 지키려 한다"고 선언했다.

전임의 비대위는 "신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 위기를 악용해 국민의 생명을 볼모로 추진한 '4대악 의료정책'에 반대한다"면서 "기형적인 의료수가 개선과 지역 의료 인프라 확충이야말로 기피과와 지역 간 의료 불균형 문제 해결을 위한 근본적인 방안이라는 입장에 변함이 없다"고 강조했다.

전임의 비대위는 "이런 서투른 의료정책을 협의 없이 독단적으로 추진한 정부로 인해 국민들이 받은 많은 고통에 슬픔을 느낀다"며 "이를 저지하기 위해 투쟁한 모든 의료계 구성원들의 노력에 지지를 보낸다"고 밝혔다.

그러면서 "합의문의 잉크가 마르기도 전에 이행 의지를 의심케 하는 정부와 일부 정치인들의 행보에 우려를 표한다"며 "의료전문가로서 의정협의체에 적극적으로 참여해 합의안이 충실히 이행되는지 지속해서 감시하겠다"고 밝혔다.

아울러 "국민 건강을 해칠 독단적인 의료정책이 다시 추진될 경우 전국 전임의들은 언제라도 단결해 의료계 최전선에서 행동할 것"이라고 덧붙였다.
