(인천=연합뉴스) 홍현기 기자 = 지난 4·15 총선 때 무소속 윤상현(57) 의원이 출마한 지역구 선거에 불법으로 개입한 혐의를 받는 '함바(건설현장 간이식당) 브로커' 유상봉(74)씨의 아들과 윤 의원의 보좌관이 구속됐다.

인천지방경찰청 지능범죄수사대는 10일 공직선거법 위반 혐의로 유씨 아들과 윤 의원의 4급 보좌관 A(53)씨를 구속했다.

김병국 인천지법 영장전담 판사는 전날 오후 이들의 구속 전 피의자 심문(영장실질심사)을 진행한 뒤 "도주할 우려가 있다"며 영장을 발부했다.

경찰에 신병이 확보되지 않은 상태인 유씨는 전날 인천지법에서 열린 영장실질심사에 나타나지 않아 구속영장 발부 여부가 결정되지 않았다.

경찰은 유씨가 전날 영장실질심사에 나오지 않음에 따라 도주한 것으로 추정하고 소재지를 파악해 강제 구인에 나설 방침이다.

그러나 앞서 법원으로부터 발부받은 구인장의 유효기간이 끝나는 이달 14일까지 유씨의 신병을 확보하지 못하면 검찰을 통해 "심문 없이 구속영장을 발부해 달라"고 법원에 요청할 계획이다.

유씨는 4·15 총선에서 인천 동구미추홀을 선거구에 출마한 윤 의원을 당선시키기 위해 허위 사실로 경쟁 후보인 미래통합당(현 국민의힘) 안상수(73) 의원을 검찰에 고소한 혐의를 받고 있다.

당시 그는 "2009년 안 의원이 인천시장으로 재직할 때 건설 현장에서 이권을 챙겨주는 대가로 내연녀 등을 통해 수십억 원을 받아 챙겼다"고 주장하며 검찰에 고소장을 제출했다.

A씨는 유씨 아들과 짜고 이 같은 내용의 허위 고소를 통해 안 의원을 낙선시키려 한 혐의를 받고 있다.

유씨는 2010년부터 경찰 간부, 공기업 경영진, 건설사 임원 등에게 뒷돈을 건네거나 함바 운영권을 미끼로 사기 행각을 벌인 혐의로 수차례 구속되면서 '함바왕'으로 불렸다.
