(서울=연합뉴스) 김주환 기자 = 보컬그룹 2AM 출신 가수 겸 배우 임슬옹(33)이 늦은 밤 운전 도중 무단횡단하는 보행자를 쳐 사망사고를 낸 것으로 확인됐다.

4일 서울 서부경찰서에 따르면 임씨는 지난 1일 오후 11시50분께 서울 은평구 한 도로에서 SUV 차량을 운전하던 중 횡단보도에서 빨간 불에 무단횡단하는 남성 A씨를 들이받았다.

A씨는 근처 병원으로 옮겨졌으나 숨졌다.

사고 당시 임씨는 술을 마시지는 않은 것으로 조사됐다.

경찰은 사고 직후 임씨를 조사했고 추후 다시 불러 보강 조사를 할 예정이다.
