(대전=연합뉴스) 김준범 기자 = 최근 계속된 집중호우로 큰 피해를 본 충남 지역에서는 휴일인 8일에도 수해 복구 작업이 이어졌다.

집중호우 피해로 특별재난지역으로 지정된 천안·아산에서는 날이 밝자마자 집안에 쌓인 토사를 퍼내고 파손된 둑을 보수하는 등 일손이 바쁘게 움직였다.

마을 전체가 잠겼던 천안시 수신면 장산리에서는 농민들이 비닐하우스에 쌓인 쓰레기 더미를 치우며 비지땀을 흘렸다.

중장비를 동원해 끊어진 도로를 보수하는 작업도 이어졌다.

폭우와 강풍으로 어선이 뒤집히는 등 피해를 본 태안·보령지역에서도 무너진 방파제를 복구하는 작업이 재개됐다.

서천 해변으로 밀려온 부유물을 치우기 위해 중장비가 동원되기도 했다.

한 주민은 "하루빨리 복구를 해야 하는데 야속한 비가 계속 내려 작업이 더딜 수밖에 없다"며 "하늘이 원망스러울 정도"라고 한숨을 쉬었다.

지난 3일 아산에서 발생한 산사태 여파로 하천에 빠져 실종된 주민 2명을 찾는 수색 작업도 다시 시작됐다.

군·경찰·시 등 유관기관 인력 450여명과 드론, 제트스키 등 장비 86대가 투입됐다.

코레일은 밤사이 장항선 철도 웅천역~간치역 구간에 유입된 토사 제거 작업에 나섰다.

산사태·하천(계곡) 범람 우려 지역에서는 사전 대피 방송이 계속됐다..

충남도 재난안전실에 따르면 이번 집중호우로 전날까지 1명이 숨지고 2명이 실종됐다.이재민은 568세대 793명이다.

집계된 시설 피해는 3천872건으로, 702억원 상당의 재산피해가 발생한 것으로 집계됐다.
