(춘천=연합뉴스) 이재현·이상학 기자 = 2일 강원지역에 내린 집중 호우로 토사가 주택을 덮쳐 잠자던 일가족 중 2명이 다치는 등 비 피해가 속출했다.

특히 많은 비가 한꺼번에 내린 집중호우로 철길에 토사가 흘러내려 중앙선 원주∼영주 구간과 영동선 동해∼영주, 태백선 영월∼제천 구간에서 철도 운행 중단이 잇따르고 있다.

코레일 관계자는 "토사가 유입된 구간에 긴급 복구반을 투입해 북구작업을 벌이고 있다"며 "아직 많은 비가 내리는 일부 구간은 비가 소강상태를 보일 때까지 복구하지 못하고 있어 장시간 소요될 것으로 예상된다"고 말했다.

강원도소방본부에 따르면 지난 1일부터 이날 오전 9시 현재까지 토사 유출, 침수, 계곡물 고립객 구조 등 폭우로 인한 신고 출동이 40건이 넘게 접수됐다.

이날 오전 2시께 횡성군 강림면 월현리 인근의 한 주택이 토사로 인해 일부 파손됐다.

이 사고로 주택에서 잠을 자던 A(81) 할머니와 손녀(11)가 토사가 덮친 방에 갇혀 있다가 신고를 받고 출동한 소방대원에 의해 구조됐다.

당시 A 할머니와 아들 부부, 손주 2명 등 5명이 잠을 자던 중 변을 당했으며, 다행히 큰 부상은 아닌 것으로 알려졌다.

새벽 시간 시간당 20∼30㎜의 강한 비가 내린 원주에서는 원주교의 물이 불어나 둔치 주차 차량 침수 피해가 우려돼 차량을 모두 이동하는 소동을 빚었고 원주 신림의 야영객 300여 명이 긴급 대피하기도 했다.

고립객 구조도 잇따랐다.

지난 1일 오후 5시 55분께 횡성군 서원면 압곡리 인근 일리천에서 주말농장에 갔던 B(51)씨 등 5명이 불어 난 불에 고립됐다가 구조됐다.

또 같은 날 오후 5시 55분께 평창군 방림면 방림리 계촌천에서도 등산객 4명이 계곡물이 불어나 고립됐다가 신고를 받고 출동한 소방대원에 의해 구조됐다.

현재 많은 비가 내리고 있는 원주와 영월, 정선 등 영서지역을 중심으로 주택 인근과 도로 침수 피해 신고가 잇따르고 있다.

기상청은 내일(3일)까지 강원 영서의 누적 강수량이 최대 300mm를 넘을 수도 있다며 대비를 당부했다.

지난 1일부터 이날 오전 9시 30분까지 내린 비의 양은 영월 195.8mm, 원주 신림 172mm, 정선 신동 158.5mm, 영월 주천 141.5mm, 태백 67mm, 삼척 도계 49mm 등이다.

현재 원주·횡성·영월·정선 평지·강원 남부 산지에는 호우경보가, 철원·화천·양구 평지·인제 평지·춘천·홍천 평지·평창 평지, 삼척 평지·태백에는 호우주의보가 발효 중이다.
