(경기광주=연합뉴스) 강영훈 기자 = 중부지방에 계속되는 집중호우로 인해 3일 밤 경기 광주시 소재 아파트와 주택에 정전 사태가 발생, 주민들이 불편을 겪고 있다.

이날 오후 9시 36분께 경기 광주시 오포읍 양벌리 소재 A 아파트(830여 가구)와 인근 주택 등 총 967가구에 정전이 발생했다.

정전 사고는 폭우와 돌풍으로 인해 인근 전봇대의 전선이 끊어지면서 발생한 것으로 전해졌다.

한국전력은 현장에서 복구 작업을 벌이고 있다.

한전 관계자는 "이른 시간 내에 복구를 완료해 주민 불편을 최소화하겠다"고 말했다.
