김원웅 '친일 청산' 광복절 기념사에 반발

(서울=연합뉴스) 류미나 기자 = 미래통합당 의원들은 15일 김원웅 광복회장이 광복절 경축식 기념사에서 이승만 전 대통령을 '친일파'로 공개 규정하며 '친일 청산'을 주장하자 맹비난했다.

김기현 의원은 페이스북에서 "참을 수 없는 모욕을 느낀다"며 개탄했다.

그는 "민주당에 차고 넘치는 친일파 후손에 대해선 면죄부를 주고, 위안부 할머니들을 앞세워 자신의 배를 채운 민주당 윤미향 의원 같은 사람도 정의의 이름으로 심판하지 못하는 주제에 어디에 대고 친일청산 운운하냐"고 따졌다.

이어 "깜냥도 안 되는 광복회장의 망나니짓에 광복절 기념식이 퇴색돼버려 안타깝고 아쉽다"며 "정작 일본에는 한마디도 제대로 못 하면서, 거꾸로 국민을 상대로 칼을 겨누고 진영논리를 부추기는 사람은 광복회장의 자격이 없다"고 비판했다.

허은아 의원도 페이스북에 글을 올려 "사회 분열의 원흉이 된 김원웅 회장의 기념사는 도저히 대한민국 광복회장의 입에서 나올 수 없는, 아니 나와서는 안 될 메시지였다"며 "반일 친북, 반미 친문의 김원웅 회장은 파직돼야 한다"고 주장했다.

배준영 대변인은 국회에서 기자들과 만나 김 회장의 경축사와 관련, "미래 발전적인 메시지를 내줬으면 좋겠다"는 입장을 밝혔다.

그는 "모든 것에는 공과가 있고, 우리가 애국가를 부른지도 수십 년"이라며 "그럼 여태까지 초등학생부터 모든 국민이 애국가를 부른 행위는 잘못된 것이고, 부정해야 하느냐"고 했다.
