(무안=연합뉴스) 장아름 기자 = 전남의 한 초등학교 교사가 제자들을 장기간 성추행했다는 의혹이 제기돼 경찰이 수사에 들어갔다.

18일 전남지방경찰청 등에 따르면 경찰은 자신의 학급 학생들을 추행한 혐의로 초등학교 교사 A씨를 조사 중이다.

A씨는 교실에서 여학생들을 무릎 위에 앉히거나 배나 등을 만지는 등 추행한 혐의를 받고 있다.

학교와 전남도교육청은 이달 초 학부모로부터 피해를 접수하고 A씨를 학생들과 분리 조치한 뒤 경찰에 수사를 의뢰했다.

경찰과 교육청은 A씨가 이 학교에서 여러 해 근무한 점 등을 고려해 전교생을 대상으로 전수 조사를 할 방침이다.
