(서울=연합뉴스) 임성호 기자 = "전 국민이 '부동산 블루'(우울증)를 넘어 '부동산 분노조절장애'가 걸렸습니다. 이 정권처럼 매주 국민에게 이토록 정신적인 고통과 물질적인 피해를 주는 정권이 있었습니까?"

8일 서울 여의도 LG트윈타워 맞은편 여의대로에서는 계약갱신청구권, 전월세상한제 도입을 골자로 하는 개정 주택임대차보호법 시행과 정부의 고강도 부동산 규제 정책에 항의하는 '6·17 규제 소급적용 강력반대' 집회가 열렸다.

이날 집회는 '6·17 규제 소급적용 피해자모임', '7·10 취득세 소급적용 피해자모임', '임대사업자협회 추진위원회' 등이 주최했다. 집회 시작 직후 제법 굵은 빗방울이 떨어졌지만 참가자들은 아랑곳하지 않고 우비를 입거나 우산을 쓴 채 3개 차로와 인도에 약 200ｍ 구간을 채웠다. 주최 측은 참가자를 1천명으로 추산했다.

6·17 부동산 악법 저지 대책위원회 대표인 40대 주부 강모씨는 "문재인 정권은 '공정한 나라를 만들겠다'더니 이렇게 서민을 짓밟고 빈부격차를 심화시키고 있다"며 "노영민 대통령 비서실장을 솎아내려 하는 것도 '생쇼'"라고 주장했다.

강 대표는 이어 "부동산 악법 저지 운동을 벌이는 우리는 '태극기', '틀딱', '수구 친일파'가 아니라 대한민국의 성실한, 평범한 30·40대 가장이자 집주인, 자영업자"라며 "우리는 우리 자유를 지키고 누릴 권리가 있다"고 목소리를 높였다.

이어 연단에 오른 이동욱 경기도의사회 회장은 "날씨도 안 좋고 힘들지만, 이 나라가 부동산까지 파탄이 났기에 여기 나왔다. 징벌적 과세 정책이라는데 국민이 집을 가진 게, 재산을 가진 게 죄인가"라며 "더는 사회주의 사기에 속지 않겠다"고 말했다.

발언 사이사이 참가자들은 '임대차3법 위헌', '소급철폐 위헌타도', '국민은 개돼지가 아니다'라고 적힌 팻말을 들고 "공공임대 좋으면 여당부터 임대살라", "지역주민 협의 없이 공공임대 짓지 말라" 등의 구호를 외쳤다.

집회 참석자들은 집회를 마치고 항의의 의미로 더불어민주당 당사까지 행진할 예정이다. 주최 측 관계자는 "정부의 태도 변화가 없으면 주말마다 집회를 진행할 예정"이라고 밝혔다. 이들은 오는 15일 광복절 대규모 촛불집회를 예고했다.

주최 측은 집회를 이어가는 한편 임대인들의 피해를 복구한다는 취지로 정부 대책의 위헌성을 따지는 위헌소송을 제기하겠다고 밝혔다.
