(서울=연합뉴스) 고은지 기자 = 장마 끝 무렵 서울·경기와 강원 영서에 매우 강한 비가 내리고 있다.

기상청은 15일 낮 경기 남부와 강원 영서 남부에 호우특보가 발효 중이며 서울·경기 남부와 강원 영서 남부에는 돌풍과 천둥·번개를 동반한 시간당 20∼30mm의 강한 비가 온다고 밝혔다.

15일 정오부터 오후 1시 사이 주요지점 1시간 강수량은 경기 용인 이동묵리 23.5mm, 이천 가남 17.5mm, 평창 용평 16.5mm다.

14일부터 15일 오후 1시까지 누적 강수량은 경기 여주시 대신면 121.5mm, 양평군 양동면 86.0mm, 남양주시 오남읍 83.0mm, 광주시 오포읍 71.5mm, 이천시 마장면 71.5mm, 서울 성북구 70.0mm, 강원 횡성군 청일면 129.5mm, 평창군 봉평면 120.5mm, 홍천군 내면 112.0mm, 충북 제천 9.3mm다.

기상청은 "확장된 북태평양고기압과 북서쪽의 선선하고 건조한 공기 사이에서 정체전선이 다시 활성화돼 내려와 수도권 부근에 위치했다"며 "이로 인해 폭이 좁고 동서로 긴 비구름대가 형성돼 비가 강하게 오는 것"이라고 설명했다. 특히 북쪽에서 내려온 비구름대가 응축되고 내륙에서 구름이 강하게 발달하며 강수량이 많아졌다.

이에 따라 서울·경기와 강원 영서에 돌풍이 불고 천둥·번개가 치며 시간당 30mm 내외의 강한 비가 오는 곳이 있으니 저지대와 농경지 침수, 산사태, 축대 붕괴 등의 비 피해가 없도록 각별히 유의해야 한다.

비는 일요일인 16일까지 이어지겠으며 이후 중부지방은 역대 최장기간 장마에서 벗어날 전망이다.

기상청 관계자는 "장마가 끝나더라도 대기가 습하고 더워서 소나기가 내리거나 기압골에 의한 비가 올 수 있다"고 말했다.

서울·경기와 강원 영서를 제외한 전국 대부분 지역에는 폭염특보가 발효됐다.

17일까지 낮 기온이 경북 내륙과 제주 북부는 35도 이상, 그 밖의 남부지방과 강원 동해안·제주도는 33도 이상으로 오르는 곳이 많아 매우 덥겠다.

습도가 높아 체감온도는 더 높으니 건강 관리를 하면서 농업, 축산업, 산업 등의 피해가 없도록 유의해야 한다고 기상청은 덧붙였다.
