주호영 '4대강 끝장토론' 제안에 與양이원영 "내가 나서겠다"

(서울=연합뉴스) 이보배 기자 = 환경운동연합 출신인 더불어민주당 양이원영 의원이 14일 미래통합당 주호영 원내대표가 제안한 '4대강 끝장토론'에 응하겠다고 밝혔다.

양 의원은 이날 페이스북에서 "끝장토론 제안을 환영한다. 초선 의원이지만 내가 나서겠다"고 말했다.

양 의원은 "4대강 보는 홍수 예방에 전혀 도움이 되지 않는다. 이미 감사원 감사 결과에서도 밝혀졌고 여러 전문가의 의견도 일치한다"며 "홍수 피해로 온 나라가 힘든 상황에서 이런 가짜뉴스로 국민을 분열시켜서는 안 된다"고 지적했다.

그러면서 "4대강 보가 홍수를 예방한다는 가짜뉴스로 국민을 호도하면서 정쟁을 만드니 더 이상 두고 볼 수가 없다"며 "초선의원이라 거절하지 말고 끝장토론에 초대해달라. 주 원내대표와 토론하며 4대강 사업의 진실을 국민께 알리겠다"고 덧붙였다.
