"올해 한국 실업률 4.1% 전망"…G20 국가 중 상승폭 최소

(서울=연합뉴스) 성서호 기자 = 국제금융센터와 블룸버그 산하 연구기관인 블룸버그 인텔리전스(BI)가 집계한 이달 현재 한국의 올해 실업률 전망치는 4.1%로 나타났다.

이는 작년(3.7%)보다 0.47%포인트 오른 수치다.

작년 대비 전망치 상승 폭만 보면 비교 가능한 주요 20개국(G20) 가운데 가장 적다.

한국 다음으로 상승 폭이 작은 곳은 중국(3.6%→4.2%)과 일본(2.4%→3.0%)으로, 0.6%포인트씩 올랐다.

이어 이탈리아(1.0%포인트), 독일(1.1%포인트), 러시아(1.2%포인트), 프랑스(1.4%포인트) 등의 순이었다. 남아프리카공화국(28.7%→34.1%)이 5.4%포인트로 가장 크게 실업률 전망치가 올랐고, G20 평균 상승 폭은 2.6% 포인트(4.8%→7.4%)였다.

사우디아라비아와 인도는 실업 통계 미비로 집계에서 빠졌다.

김위대 국제금융센터 연구원은 "연초 경제활동 봉쇄 여파 등으로 일시적으로 실업이 큰 폭으로 늘었다가 연이은 경기 침체에 따른 산업 간 재배치 리스크로 실업률의 2차 상승이 유발됐다"고 실업률 상승 배경을 설명했다.

한편 통계청에 따르면 지난달 한국의 실업률은 0.1%포인트 오른 4.0%로, 7월 기준으로 2000년(4.0%) 이후 최고치다. 실업자 수는 4만1천명 늘어난 113만8천명로 1999년 7월(147만6천명) 이후 최대다.
