수입 고기 39.8t 국산으로 속여 판 축산업자 구속

(대구=연합뉴스) 김선형 기자 = 국립농산물품질관리원 경북지원은 13일 수입 고기 39.8t을 국산으로 둔갑시켜 판매한 혐의로 축산업자 A씨를 구속했다.

A씨는 2017년 3월 22일부터 2020년 6월 2일까지 자신이 운영하는 축산업체와 친형이 운영하는 식당에서 외국산 쇠고기 1.7t과 돼지고기 38.1t을 국내산으로 속여 12억8천300만원치를 판 혐의를 받고 있다.

그는 단속을 피하기 위해 외국산 축산물 구매 대금을 차명계좌로 결제하거나, 거래명세서를 숨기고, 축산물 이력번호를 허위로 기재하는 등 증거인멸을 시도했다.

국립농산물품질관리원 경북지원 유통관리과 전미향 담당은 "적발 뒤에도 범행 사실을 부인하고 진술을 번복하는 등 죄질이 극히 불량하다"며 "친형에게도 구속영장을 신청했으나 기각돼 불구속 입건했다"고 말했다.
