(서울=연합뉴스) 김철선 기자 = 인천국제공항공사의 직접고용 전환 과정에서 실직 위기에 처한 인천공항 보안검색 노동자들이 서울 도심에서 단체 삭발식을 열고 고용 안정 약속을 지켜 달라고 요구했다.

인천공항 보안검색서비스 노조 등 한국노총 산하 노동단체들은 13일 서울 중구 청계천 예금보험공사 앞에서 '인천공항 비정규직 부당해고 집회'를 열고 "노동자들을 실직 위기로 내모는 졸속 정규직 전환을 중단하라"고 주장했다.

집회에는 인천공항 여객보안검색 요원과 야생동물통제 요원 등 100여명이 참석했다.

공민천 인천공항 보안검색서비스노조 위원장은 "보안검색 요원들은 문재인 대통령이 인천공항을 방문해 약속한 고용안정을 믿고 있었다"며 "하지만 공사는 노동자들이 요구한 적도 없는 직접 고용 채용 절차를 강요하고, 탈락하면 해고하겠다고 일방적으로 통보했다"고 주장했다.

공 위원장은 "공사와 정부는 자신들의 실적을 쌓기 위해 당사자들의 목소리를 무시하고 졸속으로 직고용 전환을 강행하고 있다"며 "문재인 대통령은 보안검색 직원들의 고용안정 약속을 지켜달라"고 요구했다.

이날 집회에서는 삭발식이 열렸다. 실직 위기에 놓인 보안검색 요원과 야생동물통제 요원 30여명은 항의의 뜻으로 단체 삭발에 참여했다.

일부 보안검색 요원들은 근무복을 입고 삭발식에 참여했고 여성 노동자들도 동참했다. 한 여성 노동자가 긴 머리를 자르며 눈물을 흘리자 집회 참석자들 사이에서는 울음소리가 터져 나왔다.

이날 삭발한 야생동물통제 요원 이종혁씨는 "십수 년 동안 공항에서 근무했는데 갑자기 시험을 보라고 하더니 실직 통보를 받았다"며 "대통령이 약속한 고용안정은 대체 어딨는가"라고 물었다.

이씨는 "세 아이의 아빠이자 한 가족의 가장인데, 앞으로 어떻게 살아야 할지 막막하기만 하다"며 "정부와 공사는 노동자들의 고용안정을 지켜달라"고 호소했다.

집회 참석자들은 "근로계약 무시하는 불법 해고 중단하라", "가정을 파탄 내는 직고용 중단하라" 등 구호를 외쳤다.

앞서 공사는 비정규직의 정규직 전환 계획에 따라 공항소방대(211명)와 야생동물통제(30명), 여객보안검색(1천902명) 등 생명·안전과 밀접한 3개 분야 2천143명을 직접 고용하겠다고 발표하고 관련 절차를 진행하고 있다.

공사는 2017년 5월12일을 기준으로 이전에 입사한 사람은 절대평가 방식의 직고용 적격심사 절차를, 이후에 입사한 사람은 공개 채용 절차를 밟게 했다.

최근 공사는 이 과정에서 탈락한 공항소방대원과 야생동물통제 요원 47명을 해고하기로 결정했다.
