(서울=연합뉴스) 신재우 김유아 기자 = 수도권에서 '사회적 거리두기 2단계' 조치가 19일부터 본격적으로 시행됨에 따라 결혼식을 앞둔 예비부부들이 큰 혼란을 겪을 것으로 예상된다.

하객이 실내에서 50명 이상 모이는 결혼식은 기본적으로 취소·연기해야 한다. 단, 하객을 분산 배치할 수 있다면 예정대로 식을 올릴 수도 있다.

중앙재난안전대책본부의 서울·경기·인천지역 거리두기 2단계 조치 사항 설명에 따르면, 19일부터 실내에서 50인 이상 모이거나 실외에서 100명 이상이 대면 접촉하는 '결혼식'은 허용되지 않는다.

통상 결혼식장에는 50명 이상이 참석하기 때문에 2단계 조치가 이어지는 이달 30일 이전에 수도권에서 결혼식장을 예약한 예비부부 상당수는 예약을 취소하거나 연기해야 할 것으로 보인다.

다만 방역당국은 공간이 분할되어 있고 사람 간 이동·접촉이 불가한 경우라면 분할된 공간 내 참석 인원을 기준으로 결혼식을 허용한다.

즉, 하객을 여러 개의 방으로 분산시키고, 한 방에 50명 이하의 하객이 착석해 결혼식을 영상 등을 통해 지켜볼 경우에는 식을 진행할 수 있다는 뜻이다.

그러나 기념사진을 찍기 위해 한 공간으로 모이거나, 식사하기 위해 뷔페식당으로 함께 갈 수는 없다. 결혼식장 내 뷔페식당은 '고위험시설'로 거리두기 2단계에서 아예 문을 닫는다.

결혼식을 강행함으로써 방역당국의 '집합금지' 명령을 위반하면 감염병예방법에 따라 300만원 이하의 벌금이 부과되고, 확진자 발생 시 입원·치료비 및 방역비를 물어내야 할 수도 있다. 중대본 관계자는 "벌금은 행사 주최자뿐만 아니라 참석자 모두에게 부과될 것"이라고 설명했다.

당국은 결혼식 방역조치에 대한 자세한 가이드라인을 만들어 공개할 예정이다.

정부는 방역조치에 따른 예식장 계약 파기에 대해서는 손해보전 방안을 논의해보겠다는 입장이다. 하지만 감염병 대응조치가 급박하게 이뤄지고 있어 당장의 손해는 당사자가 감수해야 한다고 밝혔다.

수도권의 거리두기 2단계 조치는 일단 이달 30일까지 이어진다. 정부는 코로나19 확산 상황을 고려해 기간은 조정될 수 있다고 밝혔다.
