코로나19 앓은 벨라루스 대통령 "누군가 고의로 바이러스 전파"

(모스크바=연합뉴스) 유철종 특파원 = 다음 달 대선에서 6기 집권에 도전하는 옛 소련국가 벨라루스의 알렉산드르 루카셴코 대통령이 6일(현지시간) 누군가가 고의로 자신을 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19)에 걸리게 했다고 주장했다.

인테르팍스 통신에 따르면 루카셴코 대통령은 이날 우크라이나 언론인과의 인터뷰에서 "누군가가 몰래 내게 코로나19 바이러스를 전파시켰다"면서 "우리는 현재 이에 대해 조사하고 있다"고 말했다.

루카셴코 대통령은 앞서 지난달 말 자신이 코로나19에 걸렸다가 회복됐다면서 무증상으로 감염병을 이겨냈다고 밝힌 바 있다.

언제 병을 앓았는지는 언급하지 않았다.

5기 집권 중인 루카셴코 대통령은 다음 달 9일로 예정된 대선에 다시 입후보한 상태다.

이번 대선에서도 유력한 경쟁 후보가 없어 지난 1994년부터 26년 동안 벨라루스를 철권 통치해온 그가 6기 집권에 성공할 것으로 예상된다.
