독일 코로나19 신규확진자, 3개월만에 1천200명 넘어

(베를린=연합뉴스) 이광빈 특파원 = 독일에서 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 신규 확진자가 최근 3개월간 최고치를 기록하며 재확산에 대한 우려가 점점 커지고 있다.

12일 독일 보건당국에 따르면 이날 누적 확진자는 21만8천519명으로 전날보다 1천1천226명이 증가했다.

신규 확진자가 1천251명을 기록한 지난 5월 9일 이후 가장 높은 수치다.

신규 확진자는 지난주 주중부터 1천명대를 오르내리고 있다.

신규 확진자는 지난 4월 초 6천명대에 달했다가 6월 중순에 100명대 후반까지 떨어졌다.

이후 공공생활 통제가 대부분 해제되고 휴가철을 맞이하면서 다시 확산 추세를 꾸준히 보이고 있다.

더구나 대형 도축장 등에서 집단감염이 많이 발생했던 6월과 달리 최근에는 소규모 단위로 감염이 발생하는 추세다.

옌스 슈판 보건장관은 언론 인터뷰에서 주로 외국에서 돌아온 여행객들과 파티, 가족 모임 등을 통해 감염이 확산하고 있다면서 사회적 거리두기를 당부했다.

보건당국은 발칸반도 서부와 터키, 불가리아, 루마니아, 폴란드, 스페인에서 돌아온 여행객들 사이에서 감염자가 늘고 있다고 설명했다.

독일에서 코로나19 확산 초기 감염자의 평균 나이는 50세였고, 최근에는 34세로 떨어졌다.

누적 사망자는 9천207명이고, 지금까지 19만8천800명이 완치됐다.
