울산 처용문화제 10월 30일 개막…공연작품 공모

(울산=연합뉴스) 장영은 기자 = 올해로 54회째를 맞는 울산 처용문화제가 10월 30일 개막한다.

울산문화재단은 10월 30일부터 11월 1일까지 사흘간 울산 일대에서 제54회 처용문화제를 개최한다고 6일 밝혔다.

문화재단은 이를 위해 전국 문화예술 단체를 대상으로 처용 콘텐츠 무대 공연작품을 18일까지 공개 모집하기로 했다.

모두 3개 작품을 선정한다.

문화재단은 이번 작품 공모를 하는 문화예술 단체별로 400만원 안팎에 이르는 제작비를 지원하기로 했다.

참가 부문은 무용, 음악, 퍼포먼스, 음악극 등 장르에 특별한 제한을 두진 않기로 했다.

다만 올해 처용문화제 3가지 키워드인 핵심 표현 '벽사진경(귀신을 물리치고 경사로운 일을 맞는다는 의미) ', '탈', '울산 처용' 중 최소 1가지를 선택해 공연에 녹여내야 한다.

문화재단은 참가 희망 문화예술 단체는 문화재단 누리집 공모·입찰 게시판에서 신청 서식을 받아 이메일로 18일 오후 6시까지 신청하면 된다고 설명했다.

선정 결과는 심의를 거쳐 24일 문화재단 누리집에 발표한다.

문화재단 관계자는 "이번 작품 공모로 선정된 작품은 축제가 진행되는 3일간 주요 프로그램 식전 행사로 선보인다"고 말했다.
