(서울=연합뉴스) 임화섭 김계연 기자 = 등록 교인 56만명의 세계 최대 개신교회인 여의도순복음교회로 신종코로나바이러스감염증(코로나19)이 퍼진 것으로 드러나 방역당국이 긴장하고 있다.

교인 확진자가 다수 발생했으며 이 중 상당수는 성가대원인 것으로 알려졌다.

17일 각 지역 방역당국에서 연합뉴스가 취재한 내용을 종합하면, 여의도순복음교회 교인들과 그 가족 중 코로나19 확진자가 잇따라 발생하고 있다. 지금까지 확진된 인원은 10명으로 확인됐다.

방역당국은 경기도에 거주하는 한 확진자를 상대로 역학조사를 벌인 결과 이달 9일 교회 찬양대 연습과 예배 과정에서 바이러스 전파가 이뤄진 것으로 추정하고 있다. 성가대는 특히 비말 확산이 일어나기 쉬운 여건이다.

현재까지 여의도순복음교회 관련 확진자는 모두 경기도 거주자다. 박유미 서울시 재난안전대책본부 통제관은 이날 오전 긴급브리핑에서 이런 내용을 확인하며 "현재까지 서울시민은 확진 통보된 바 없다"고 말했다.

서울시는 이날 중 경기도로부터 역학조사 결과를 넘겨받아 여의도순복음교회와 관련 장소를 방역조치를 하는 한편 확진자의 접촉자 등을 추가 조사할 방침이다.

앞서 이 교회 교인인 30대 남성(경기 김포 70번)이 코로나19 확진 판정을 받은 데 이어 A씨 부모(충북 충주 14·15번)도 추가로 확진 판정을 받았다. 이들은 10일부터 12일까지 제주도에 머무른 것으로 조사됐다.

또 여의도순복음교회 교인 중 성가대에서 찬양을 한 40대 수원 팔달구 주민이 11일부터 증세가 나타나 15일 검사를 받고 당일에 확진됐다.

이에 대해 여의도순복음교회 관계자는 "사회적 거리두기 2단계 조치에 따라 주일 정규예배 외에 성가대연습 등 모든 소모임을 중지한 상태이며 개인방역에 최선을 다해달라고 성도들에게 지침을 주고 독려하고 있다"며 "주일 예배시 성가대도 마스크를 쓰고 최소 인원으로 찬양을 하고 있다"고 밝혔다.

이 관계자는 지금까지 교회 측이 자체적으로 파악한 확진자는 경기 김포 거주자를 포함해 3명이라고 설명했다.

이 관계자는 "3부 성가대원 중 한 명이 9일 예배 후에 저녁 외식을 했고 그 후 감기 증상이 있어 검사를 받았는데 12일에는 음성으로 나왔다가 15일에 양성 통보를 받고 교회에 신고했다"며 "이에 따라 3부 성가대원 전원을 교회에 출입하지 못하도록 하고 오늘 성애병원에서 검사를 받도록 했다"고 전했다.

그는 이어 "또 한 사람은 남편이 사랑제일교회 교인인데 검사를 받고 지난 15일 확진됐으며, 금요일(14일) (여의도순복음교회) 세계선교센터에 1시간 정도 머무른 것으로 확인돼 토요일 오후에 폐쇄조치하고 방역했다"고 말했다.

그는 "이 3명은 9일 이후 예배에 참석한 적이 없고 영등포구도 역학조사에서 이런 사실을 확인했다"고 덧붙였다.
