(서울=연합뉴스) 김예나 기자 = 서울과 경기 등 수도권을 중심으로 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 확진자가 폭발적으로 늘어나면서 '수도권 대유행' 우려가 커지고 있다.

정부는 코로나19 확산세가 심상치 않다는 판단에 따라 수도권에 대한 '사회적 거리두기' 현행 1단계를 2단계로 높이는 방안을 검토 중이다.

중앙재난안전대책본부는 14일 오후 10시 기준으로 국내 코로나19 신규 확진자가 총 138명이라고 밝혔다.

이날 오전 0시 기준으로 103명이 발생했는데 그 이후 22시간만에 140명 가까운 환자가 새로 나온 것이다.

신규 확진자 138명 가운데 해외유입 10명을 제외한 128명이 지역발생 사례다.

지역발생 확진자가 100명대를 기록한 것은 지난 3월 21일(126명) 이후 146일 만이다.

현재 집계된 통계가 이날 오후 10시를 기준으로 한 만큼 확진자는 더 늘어날 수 있다.

특히 신규 확진자의 대부분은 서울과 경기 등 수도권에서 나온 것으로 보여 방역당국이 바짝 긴장하고 있다.

서울시에 따르면 이날 0시 이후 오후 6시까지 18시간 동안 서울에서 확진 판정을 받은 신규 환자는 58명으로 집계됐다. 이는 코로나19 사태 이후 서울지역의 최다 일일 신규 확진자 기록이다.

신규 확진자는 주로 교회를 중심으로 발생했다. 경기 용인시 '우리제일교회' 관련 확진자가 23명으로 가장 많고, 이어 성북구 '사랑제일교회' 18명, 경기 고양시 '반석교회' 1명 등이다.

그 밖에 감염자는 패스트푸드 체인 '롯데리아' 직원모임 1명, 해외유입 접촉 2명, 경로 미확인 4명 등이다.

경기도 상황도 악화일로로 치닫고 있다.

경기도에 따르면 이날 0시부터 오후 5시까지 발생한 신규 확진자는 62명으로, 서울과 마찬가지로 코로나19 유행 이후 가장 많은 수치를 기록했다.

구체적인 감염 사례를 보면 용인시 우리제일교회 관련이 46명으로 가장 많고, 이어 성북구 사랑제일교회 5명, 고양시 반석교회 1명, 용인시 '기쁨153교회' 1명, 해외유입 1명, 감염경로 미확인 4명 등이다.

경기에서는 우리제일교회 확진자를 접촉한 사람들에 대한 조사 과정에서 감염 사례가 잇따르는 상황이다.

중대본은 "최근 코로나19 신규 확진 환자가 급증함에 따라 내일 정세균(국무총리) 본부장 주재로 회의를 열고 각 중앙 부처 및 17개 광역자치단체와 함께 수도권 방역 강화 방안을 논의할 계획"이라고 밝혔다.
