제작진은 29일 공식 홈페이지를 통해 지난 24일 생방송에서 순위 집계 오류로 주간 순위가 잘못 방송됐다고 밝혔다.

제작진은 "'뮤직뱅크' K-차트 7월 넷째 주 1위는 세훈&찬열, 2위는 블랙핑크로 정정한다"며 "순위 오류는 여러 요소 중 '방송횟수'를 집계하는 과정에서 생겼으며, 재검토해 본 결과 체크 과정에서 실수가 있었다"고 설명했다.

그러면서 "시청자 여러분과 두 아티스트에게 혼란을 드린 점 깊이 사과드리며, 앞으로 이와 같은 일이 재발하지 않도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 약속했다.

'뮤직뱅크'는 앞서 2016년에도 비슷한 실수를 한 바 있다. 당시에는 '음반 점수'를 집계하는 과정에서 오류가 생겨 트와이스와 AOA 간 1·2위가 바뀌었다.
