(서울=연합뉴스) 강성철 기자 = "시대상을 가장 먼저, 가장 많이 반영하는 예술 분야가 음악과 미술입니다. 예술을 쉽게 감상하면서 시대와 음악 이해도를 높이려고 강연을 곁들인 렉처콘서트를 마련했습니다."

렉처 콘서트는 강연(Lecture)과 공연(Concert)이 합쳐진 형식의 무대를 말한다.

미술관·박물관 학예사로 프랑스와 한국을 오가며 공연해 온 큐레이터 첼리스트 윤지원(33)이 CGV와 손잡고 1년간 국내에서 '음악과 미술이 함께하는 렉처콘서트'를 연다.

클래식이 소수의 전유물이라는 선입관 깨기에 앞장서 온 윤 씨는 25일 연합뉴스와의 인터뷰에서 "시각과 청각의 동시 감상으로 예술 사유의 폭을 넓히는 공연"이라며 이같이 소개했다.

공연은 서울시 강남구 CGV청담시네시티의 공연장인 엠큐브(M CUBE)에서 매월 1회씩 열린다. 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 확산 방지를 위한 사회적 거리두기에 따라 좌석 수는 제한된다.

오는 30일 첫 번째 무대에서는 예술의 탄생에서 현대까지를 미술 작품과 연주로 소개한다.

바로크 시대의 대표 작가 카라바조의 '의심하는 도마'를 스크린에 띄워 작품·작가와 당대 미술 사조를 소개하고 여기에 맞춰 헨델의 오페라 아리아인 '울게 하소서'를 연주한다.

또 고흐의 작품 '별이 빛나는 밤'에는 드뷔시 연주곡 '달빛'을 선보이는 등 원시부터 현대까지 다양한 미술을 소개하고 연관된 음악 6곡을 연주한다.

첫 회는 윤 씨 단독 공연이지만 2회부터는 주제에 따라 협연 무대도 꾸밀 계획이다. 유튜브 채널 '아트믹'과 네이버 오디오 클립 '윤지원의 클래식하게'에서도 공연을 만날 수 있다.

윤 씨는 2013년 한국예술종합학교를 졸업한 후 프랑스로 건너가 베르사유 국립음악원 최고연주자 과정과 실내악 과정에서 최고점을 받으며 수석을 차지했다.

탄탄한 연주실력을 바탕으로 교향악단 단원이 되거나 솔리스트 길에 나설 수 있던 그가 미술과 음악의 접목이라는 미개척 분야에 빠져든 이유가 궁금했다.

윤 씨는 "세계 미술의 흐름을 한눈에 접할 수 있는 파리 유학 시절 자연스럽게 미술에 빠져들었다"며 "미술사와 음악이 맞닿아있다는 걸 깨달았고 이걸 대중에게 좀 더 쉽게 알리려고 궁리하다 보니 일반적인 연주자의 길을 벗어나게 됐다"고 설명했다.

그는 "서로 다른 예술이 섞이거나 장르를 넘나드는 것은 세계적인 추세"라며 "건축과 음악, 문학·미술 또는 음악 등 다양한 시도를 하는 예술가들이 많이 등장해 예술 문턱이 낮아졌으면 하는 바람"이라고 털어놓았다.

그는 세계한민족여성네트워크 프랑스지부의 차세대 예술축제 음악 감독을 역임했고, 경제협력개발기구(OECD) 파리 본부 초청으로 렉처콘서트를 열었다. 지난해에는 서울·부산·김해·대전 순회공연도 개최했다.

윤 씨는 "2번째 무대부터는 프랑스, 이탈리아, 스페인, 한국 등 국가별로 나눠서 시리즈로 미술과 음악을 소개할 계획"이라며 "코로나19로 해외 출입국이 어려운 상황에서 쌓인 스트레스를 음악과 영상으로 풀어내는 '예술여행'이 되도록 콘서트를 준비하겠다"고 덧붙였다.
