(세종=연합뉴스) 윤종석 기자 = 김현미 국토교통부 장관이 "국장급 이상 간부들이 2주택 문제를 정리하고 있다"고 밝혔다.

김 장관은 29일 국회 국토교통위원회에서 더불어민주당 천준호 의원이 "국토부 내에서 이해충돌을 방지하기 위해 어떤 노력을 하고 있느냐"고 질의하자 이같이 답했다.

주택 정책을 펼치는 공무원이 다주택자라면 곤란하지 않으냐는 취지다.

현재 국토부의 국장급 이상 간부, 즉 정책관급 이상 고위공무원단은 정원이 51명이고 해외체류나 휴직 등을 반영한 현원은 47명이다.

이들 중에서 2주택 이상 보유한 공직자들이 여유 주택을 매각 중인 것으로 보인다.

국토부에서 박선호 1차관과 김흥진 주택토지실장, 하동수 전 주택정책관(현 청와대 국토교통비서관) 등 주택 라인은 모두 1주택자다. 이명섭 주택정책과장은 무주택자다.

천 의원이 "부동산 관련 업무를 하는 국토부뿐만 아니라 기획재정부 등 공직자들이 재산내역을 공개해야 하지 않으냐"고 하자 김 장관은 "내부 논의해 보겠다"고 답했다.
