여성단체들 "인권위가 '박원순 의혹' 직권조사하라"…내일 회견

(서울=연합뉴스) 김철선 오주현 기자 = 박원순 전 서울시장을 성추행 혐의로 고소한 전직 비서를 지원하는 여성단체들이 이번 사안에 대한 국가인권위원회의 직권조사를 요구하는 기자회견을 28일 열겠다고 예고했다.

한국성폭력상담소와 한국여성의전화, 한국여성노동자회, 한국여성민우회 등 8개 여성단체는 이날 서울시청과 인권위 앞에서 '서울시장의 위력에 의한 성폭력 사건에 대한 국가인권위원회 직권조사 촉구 공동행동'을 진행한다고 27일 밝혔다.

이들은 "서울시장의 위력에 의한 성폭력 사안에 대해 피해자와 연대하는 목소리가 조직·문화의 변화를 촉구하는 연대의 물결로 이어지고 있다"며 "성평등 사회, 여성 인권이 실현되는 사회, 피해자가 일상과 일터로 복귀할 수 있는 사회를 향한 시민들의 지지와 응원을 함께 해달라"고 호소했다.

이들은 이날 오전 10시 시청에서 출발해 인권위까지 행진하고 인권위 앞에서 직권조사를 촉구하는 기자회견을 열 예정이다. 아울러 개별 시민과 단체를 대상으로 인권위 직권조사 촉구 연서명도 함께 받고 있다.

피해자 지원단체들은 지난 22일 기자회견을 열고 이번 주 중으로 인권위가 박 전 시장의 성추행 의혹에 대해 진상조사를 해달라는 진정을 제기하겠다고 밝혔다.

피해자의 법률대리인 김재련 변호사는 이날 "이 사건에서 문제가 되는 지점들이 여러 가지가 있다. 전반적인 것들을 구체적으로 지적해 인권위에 진정할 예정"이라며 "조만간 관련 일정을 공유하겠다"고 말했다.
