(베이징=연합뉴스) 김진방 특파원 = 중국 남부 창장(長江) 유역에 한 달 넘게 홍수가 지속하는 가운데 중국 남부에 18∼19일 이틀간 폭우가 예보돼 피해가 커질 것으로 보인다.

18일 관영 신화통신 등에 따르면 창장 중하류의 지난 10일간 강수량은 평년보다 2~3배로 증가했다.

이날 현재도 구이저우(貴州), 후난(湖南), 후베이(湖北), 안후이(安徽), 장쑤(江蘇), 충칭(重慶) 등에는 폭우가 내리고 있다.

이들 지역은 시간당 평균 40∼80㎜의 비가 내리고 있으며, 충칭 윈양(雲陽) 지역은 이날 375㎜ 내렸다.

이번 비는 19일까지 이어지며, 안후이 중북부와 허난(河南) 동남부, 후베이 동부에는 특히 큰 비가 올 것이라고 중국기상대는 예보했다.

중국 남부에 지난달부터 폭우가 쏟아져 433개 하천이 범람했다. 이로 인해 141명이 사망하고 이재민 3천873만명이 발생했다.
