(서울=연합뉴스) 조민정 기자 = 미래통합당은 25일 지난 사흘간의 대정부 질문에서 추미애 법무부 장관의 태도를 두고 "국민을 이기려 하지 말라"고 비판했다.

김은혜 대변인은 이날 "우리는 이번 대정부 질문에서 경험해보지 못한 법무부 장관을 봤다. 말문이 막히면 국민에게 호통을 친다. 아니면 노려본다"며 "조국 송철호 윤미향 등 '내 편' 수사엔 결사 항전하면서, '수명자', '최강욱 데스크 의혹'엔 여성이라고 호신술을 발휘한다"고 논평했다.

그러면서 "언제까지 공(公)이 없고 사(私)만 가득한 법무부 장관의 희비극을 봐야하나"라고 비난했다.

추 장관이 본회의장에서 윤석열 검찰총장 부인과 장모에 대한 자료를 꺼내 읽은 것에 대해선 "이 나라 법무부 장관이 조국 일가 변호인인가"라고 했다.

이어 "정의와 공정을 내세웠던 대통령은 그 정의와 공정을 무너뜨리는 장관에 결단을 내리라"며 "국민의 인내심이 바닥나고 있다"고 경고했다.

무소속 홍준표 의원은 페이스북에 "대정부 질문 현장에서 느낀 것은 아무리 잘못해도 그들은 당당했고 이제 그들이 대한민국의 주류라는 엄연한 사실"이라고 자조했다.

한편 진중권 전 동양대 교수는 페이스북에 추 장관의 수사지휘권 발동을 비판하며 문재인 대통령에게 추 장관의 해임을 요청했다.

진 전 교수는 "법무부 장관이 자신의 정치적 커리어를 위해 장관의 직권을 남용했다"며 "추미애씨는 직을 수행하기에는 적합하지 못하다고 보며, 대통령께 이분을 당장 해임할 것을 요구한다. 물론 대통령께 그런 분별력을 기대하지는 않습니다만…"이라고 적었다.
