[유럽증시] 미국 경기 침체 우려·부양책 기대 뒤섞이며 혼조세

(런던=연합뉴스) 박대한 특파원 = 유럽 주요 증시는 23일(현지시간) 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19)발 미국 경기 침체 우려와 추가 부양책에 대한 기대가 뒤섞여 혼조세를 보였다.

이날 영국 런던 증시의 FTSE 100 지수는 전 거래일 종가 대비 0.07% 오른 6,211.44로 거래를 마쳤다.

범유럽지수인 유로 Stoxx 50 지수도 0.03% 상승한 3,371.74로 거래를 종료했다.

반면 독일 프랑크푸르트 증시의 DAX 지수는 0.01% 내린 13,103.39로, 프랑스 파리 증시의 CAC 40 지수 역시 0.07% 하락한 5,033.76으로 각각 장을 마감했다.

미국에서 코로나19 사태가 다시 악화하면서 일자리를 잃은 사람들이 넉 달 만에 늘어났다는 소식이 투자 심리를 악화시켰다.

미 노동부는 지난주(7월 12∼18일) 신규 실업수당 청구 건수가 142만건으로 집계돼 전주 대비 10만9천건 늘어났다고 밝혔다.

다만 경기 침체를 완화하기 위해 미국 백악관과 공화당이 추가 부양책을 추진하기로 한 점은 증시에 긍정적 요인으로 작용했다.
