(서울=연합뉴스) 박의래 기자 = 서울 서대문경찰서는 서대문구청의 7급 별정직 공무원 채용 비리 의혹과 관련해 문석진 서대문구청장을 피의자 신분으로 소환 조사했다고 28일 밝혔다.

문 구청장은 2015년 서대문구 7급 공무원 채용 과정에서 내정자를 합격시키기 위해 최종면접 점수표 조작에 관여했다는 혐의를 받는다.

경찰은 당시 면접에서 최고점을 받은 A씨의 합격이 예상됐으나 한 심사위원이 점수를 고치면서 합격자가 2등이었던 B씨로 바뀌었다는 제보를 받고 당시 채용업무를 담당했던 실무자 등을 상대로 수사를 벌여왔다.

경찰은 문 구청장이 이번 채용 비리 과정에 개입했다는 내부자 진술 등을 확보한 것으로 알려졌다.

문 구청장은 이날 조사에서 혐의를 부인한 것으로 전해졌다.

경찰은 조사 내용을 검토한 뒤 신병처리 방향을 결정할 계획이다.
