(서울=연합뉴스) 박상돈 기자 = 중소벤처기업부는 올 연말까지 기술 유출 피해 중소기업에 신속한 증거 확보를 위한 디지털포렌식 분석 비용을 지원한다고 15일 밝혔다.

중기부는 "기업의 기술 유출 사고는 상당 부분 퇴직자나 내부직원에 의한 것으로 나타나고 있으나 중소기업은 전문지식 부재와 보안 관리 체계 미흡 등으로 적절한 초동 대응이 어려운 실정"이라며 이같이 밝혔다.

중기부는 "피해기업이 고소나 신고에 앞서 증거를 확보할 수 있는 가장 효율적인 수단이 디지털포렌식 분석"이라고 강조했다.

디지털포렌식은 PC와 노트북, 휴대전화 등 저장매체나 온라인상에 남아있는 각종 디지털 정보를 분석해 기술 유출 등의 단서를 찾는 기법이다.

중소기업이 자사 소유의 업무용 디지털기기에 대한 포렌식을 대중소기업농어업협력재단에 신청하면 재단이 피해 발생 시점과 내용, 분석 대상 등을 검토해 17일 선정 예정인 전문 포렌식 업체 5곳과 연결해 주는 식으로 지원이 이뤄진다.
