(서울=연합뉴스) 김효정 기자 = '아시아의 별' 보아의 데뷔 20주년 기념 리메이크 프로젝트 첫 주자로 엑소 백현이 나서고, 떠오르는 신예 프로듀서 박문치도 참여한다.

SM엔터테인먼트는 보아 20주년 기념 프로젝트 '아워 비러브드 보아'(Our Beloved BoA) 첫 음원인 백현의 '공중정원'이 31일 오후 6시 각종 음악 사이트를 통해 공개된다고 29일 밝혔다.

'공중정원'은 보아가 2005년 발매한 정규 5집 '걸스 온 톱'(Girls On Top) 수록곡으로, 몽환적인 분위기와 보아의 감성적인 보컬이 어우러져 큰 사랑을 받았다.

백현이 다시 부른 '공중정원'은 신예 프로듀서 박문치와 이아일이 편곡해 피아노 중심의 미니멀하고 세련된 R&B(리듬앤블루스)곡으로 재탄생했다.

백현은 솔로 앨범, 오리지널사운드트랙(OST), 협업곡 등을 통해 보컬리스트 역량을 발휘해 왔다.

'아워 비러브드 보아'는 오는 8월 25일 데뷔 20주년을 맞는 보아의 음악 세계와 활약상을 기념하기 위한 프로젝트다. 백현을 시작으로 볼빨간사춘기, 레드벨벳, 갤런트, SM 클래식스가 보아의 대표곡을 재해석해 발표한다.

보아는 14세이던 2000년 8월 1집 '아이디 : 피스 비'(ID:PEACE B)로 데뷔해 많은 히트곡을 내며 정상의 솔로 가수로 활약했다. 또 일본, 미국 진출을 통해 K팝의 초기 해외 진출과 세계화에 개척자 역할을 했다.
