해외유입발 2차 감염 총 7건…이동과정 2건-자가격리중 5건 전파(종합)

방역당국 "자가격리 위반 사례도 포함…이동·격리 때 방역수칙 지켜야"

해외유입 신규 확진자, 22일 연속 두 자릿수 증가

(서울=연합뉴스) 강애란 기자 = 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 해외유입 확진자가 전파한 '2차 감염' 사례가 7건에 달하는 것으로 나타났다.

권준욱 중앙방역대책본부(방대본) 부본부장은 18일 충북 오송 질병관리본부에서 열린 정례 브리핑에서 해외유입 확진자로부터 전파가 이뤄진 사례는 7건이며 이중 4건은 외국인, 3건은 내국인 관련이라고 밝혔다.

시기별로는 4월 1건, 6월 4건, 7월 2건이다.

4월에는 파키스탄, 6월에는 러시아·요르단·카자흐스탄·방글라데시, 7월에는 우즈베키스탄·과테말라에서 입국한 확진자로부터 각각 감염 전파가 이뤄졌다.

권 부본부장은 구체적인 감염 경로에 대해선 "차량 지원 과정과 연관된 사례가 2건이고, 자가격리 중 발견된 사례가 5건"이라면서 "(자가격리 감염 사례는) 자가격리가 제대로 이뤄지지 않았기 때문으로, 심지어 자가격리를 위반한 사례도 포함돼 있다"고 설명했다.

그는 다만 "이런 직접적인 관련된 범위 외에 지역사회로의 전파는 현재까지 발생한 상황은 아니다"며 "자가격리 중 또는 입국 후 이동할 때 차량이 지원됐을 경우 가족 등에게 전파된 사례"라고 덧붙였다.

해외유입 확진자와 이동 및 격리과정에서 직접 접촉한 가족·직장동료가 감염된 사례는 '지역사회 전파'로 보지 않은 것이다.

방역당국은 그동안 해외유입 확진자의 경우 검역 또는 2주간 자가격리 과정에서 걸러지기 때문에 지역전파 위험은 거의 없다고 단언해왔다.

하지만 2차 감염 사례가 속속 확인되자 입국 및 이동 과정, 그리고 격리생활 과정에서 방역수칙을 철저하게 지켜달라고 당부했다.

권 부본부장은 "입국 후 이동할 때 항상 마스크를 착용해야 하고 수화물을 찾기 전후에도 손 위생을 철저히 해야 한다"며 "(차량으로) 자가격리 장소로 이동할 때는 (동승자와) 악수 등 신체접촉을 하지 말아야 한다"고 말했다.

그는 또 "(차량에서는) 뒷좌석에 앉고, 식사나 대화를 일절 하지 않아야 한다"며 "도착 후에도 짐가방 등 소지품 표면에 대한 소독을 철저히 하는 등 조치사항들에 더 만전을 기해야 한다"고 강조했다.

정부는 지난 4월부터 외국에서 국내로 오는 모든 입국자에 대해 2주간 자가격리를 의무화하고 있다.

해외유입 확진자는 현재 2천명을 넘은 상태다. 이날 0시 기준 해외유입 확진자는 총 2천32명으로, 전체 누적 확진자(1만3천711명)의 14.8%를 차지하고 있다.
