(울산=연합뉴스) 허광무 기자 = 울산시는 시청 청사에 QR코드를 활용한 전자출입명부 시스템을 27일부터 도입한다고 밝혔다.

청사 방문자는 스마트폰으로 일회용 QR코드를 발급받아 출입구에 설치된 태블릿PC 화면에 스캔한 뒤 출입할 수 있다.

전자출입명부 시스템은 QR코드를 활용해 출입명부를 관리하는 것으로, 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 집단감염 위험성이 높은 시설을 대상으로 수기 출입명부 허위 작성이나 역학조사 거짓 진술 등 방역 사각지대를 방지하고자 도입됐다.

이 시스템은 현재 유흥주점 등 12개 업종에서 의무 사용되고 있다. 공공청사는 의무도입 대상은 아니지만, 시는 선제적으로 시스템을 도입했다고 밝혔다.

스마트폰이 없거나 사용이 익숙하지 않아 전자출입명부 사용이 곤란한 사람은 수기로 출입명부를 작성하면 된다.

전자출입명부를 통해 수집된 정보는 보건복지부 서버로 전송돼 역학조사 목적 외에는 누구도 열람할 수 없으며, 4주가 지나면 자동으로 폐기된다.

시 관계자는 "청사를 방문하는 시민들께서는 다소 불편하시더라도 적극적으로 협조해 주시길 바란다"라면서 "코로나19 확산 차단을 위해 민간시설도 전자출입명부 시스템 도입을 적극적으로 검토해주길 바란다"고 밝혔다.
