베트남 다낭서 코로나19 하루 신규확진 45명…첫 사망자 발생(종합)

(하노이=연합뉴스) 민영규 특파원 = 베트남 보건부는 31일 베트남 중부 유명 관광지 다낭시에서 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 신규 확진자가 45명 발생했다고 밝혔다.

이는 지난 25일 베트남에서 100일 만에 처음으로 코로나19 국내 감염이 다낭에서 발생한 후 최다 규모다.

당국은 전날 저녁에도 다낭과 인접한 꽝남성에서 5명이 코로나19에 새로 감염됐다고 밝혔다.

이로써 다낭발 지역사회 감염이 1주일째 확산하면서 다낭은 물론 하노이시, 호찌민시, 꽝남·꽝응아이·닥락성 등 6개 지역에서 모두 93명이 확진 판정을 받았다.

이 가운데 지난 27일 다낭병원에서 확진 판정을 받은 70세 현지인 남성이 31일 목숨을 잃었다고 현지 언론이 보건 당국 발표를 인용해 보도했다.

베트남에서 코로나19 감염으로 숨진 첫 번째 사례다.

다낭 인근 꽝남성 호이안시에 거주하는 이 남성은 지난 9일 신장 질환으로 다낭병원에 입원해 치료를 받아왔다.

당국은 이에 따라 다낭에 보건부 차관을 위원장으로 하는 코로나19 대응 특별상임위원회를 구성, 총력 대응 체제에 들어갔다.

당국은 이에 앞서 지난 28일 다낭을 오가는 모든 교통편과 시내 대중교통 운행을 중단하는 등 지역 봉쇄를 시작했고, 30일에는 음식 배달도 금지하는 등 강력한 사회적 거리 두기에 들어갔다.

하노이시와 호찌민시 등 다른 지방정부도 최근 다낭을 다녀온 주민을 추적해 자가격리하는 등 감염 확산을 막기 위한 고강도 대책을 시행하고 있다.

최근 다낭을 대거 방문한 국내 관광객을 통해 감염 확산이 이뤄지고 있기 때문이다.

특히 하노이시는 최근 다낭을 다녀온 주민 2만1천명을 대상으로 전원 코로나19 검사를 진행하기로 했다.

또 다낭시와 인접한 꽝남성과 닥락성, 푸옌성 등은 잇따라 오락 시설 영업을 금지하는 등 고강도 사회적 거리 두기 시작했고, 하노이시와 호찌민시도 바 영업과 30명 이상 대규모 모임을 금지했다.

베트남은 코로나19 방역을 위해 지난 3월 22일부터 원칙적으로 외국인 입국을 금지하고 있어 이번 지역사회 감염이 밀입국자에 의해 전파됐을 가능성을 염두에 두고 국경 통제와 밀입국자 단속을 강화했다.
