전북 귀농·귀촌 1인 가구가 '대세'…귀촌인 40%는 30대 이하

(전주=연합뉴스) 홍인철 기자 = 지난해 전북으로 농사를 짓거나 살기 위해 온 귀농·귀촌인의 평균 가구원 수는 1.4명 가량으로 나타났다.

호남지방통계청이 28일 발표한 '2019년 귀농·귀촌 현황'에 따르면 지난해 전북으로 귀농한 1천131가구의 평균 가구원 수는 1.41명이었다.

1인 가구가 72.3%로 대부분을 차지했으며 2인이 19.5%, 3인 이상이 8.2%였다.

이들의 귀농 전 거주 지역은 전북(44.1%), 경기(16.4%), 서울(15.9%) 순으로 도내에서 이동이 많은 것으로 나타났다.

귀농 가구의 작물 재배면적 규모는 평균 0.38㏊였으며 논벼(40.5%), 채소(35.5%), 특용 작물(21.7%) 등 순으로 재배했다.

또 지난해 귀촌한 1만3천477가구의 평균 가구원 수는 1.28명에 그쳤는데, 1인 가구가 80%를 차지했으며 2인 가구가 13.9%, 3인 이상이 6.1%였다.

특히 이들 귀촌인 가운데 30대 이하가 39.7%로 가장 많았고 60대 이상이 23.6%, 50대가 20.1%, 40대가 16.6%로 뒤로 이었다.

이들의 귀촌 전 거주 지역 역시 전북(58.1%)이 가장 많았고 경기(11.2%)와 서울(10.5%)이 뒤를 이었다.

귀촌 가구의 전입 사유는 가족(32.2%), 직업(27%), 주택(22.3%), 건강 등 기타(18.5%) 순으로 조사됐다.
